Symetrix Consulting was formed in 1991, when the Internet was just beginning to explode. We found that with so few people familiar with UNIX and Internet technologies, there was a real gap in knowledge that we could fix. Since that time we have acted primarily as a SWAT team, taking extremely difficult jobs that required extensive skills.
Our expertise has been of great value to companies and organizations that needed a domain expert, but weren't prepared to hire someone full time. We have also been able to help with Human Resources responsibility by interviewing potential candidates so that they would be assured to hire someone capable of performing the duties of the positions that they wanted to eventually fill for full time work.
